"Galleons"

Looking at my old stash of cd's i found this old track of mine way back 1999.I think first time i posted this track was in (now history) mp3manila.com..Anyways this track is special coz' this was my first real attempt on a straight instrumental track, all done on the mpc, and this was when i thought of the name Beatraveler.I also had a side project back then called "Golem Soundsystem", doing big beat and dance stuff.This one though is kinda like a homage to all my downtempo influences like Krush, Mo'Wax, Shadow records and Smash. I sampled the intro from some native filipino instruments,i imagined it like a scene, with the natives playing their instruments, and seeing the galleons for the first time.
